All adults (and some youngsters) are leaders – even if it is one other person who looks up to them and follows their lead. Would you agree? Seen from this perspective, every parent, every teacher, every older brother or sister, every senior colleague at the workplace, is a potential leader. Leadership is thus, a serious responsibility, seeing the possibility of influencing many lives for the better. Perhaps, that is why, grooming children for the role of leadership is important.
DPS Tapi announces its Elections 2013-14 to elect its very first House-Captains and Vice-Captains, a memorable event that will see school history in the making. The candidates who have been nominated by their teachers, based on their all-round track-record will stand for elections on Wednesday, 26 June 2013. This circular is not just for the nominated candidates of Classes VIII-IX, but for all students, teachers and parents, because as the elected representatives of students and teachers, these young leaders will have an impact on all aspects of school life.
