Your wards must have told you about our Rain Dance tradition, celebrating every monsoon since 2009. Only those students with raincoats are allowed to take part – otherwise, they will get wet through and catch cold/fever by the time they return home. The teachers will select a date and time when it is just right – and have a lot of collective dance-fun with their students. Just letting you know – so that those who habitually leave their raincoats at home (or still in the shop) will change their ways and bring a raincoat everyday to school during the monsoon.
Your ward should wear the uniform shoes and socks every day to school. Due to the rain, if the footwear gets wet through any day, then on the next day, please wear water-proof footwear. Do not come to school in wet shoes and socks.
Classes VIII-IX nominees for House and Vice Captains have a modified Election schedule beginning at Assembly on 28.06.13 with their campaign speech (not exceeding 2 minutes). The main focus is student discipline and behaviour, which is the most serious cause of concern at school. From this date, all nominees will be on self-regulated duty before and after assembly, during break and at departure time, where they will be closely monitored by teachers in charge and students from Classes VI-IX, for a week. The next Friday, 05.07.13 will be voting day. All students from Classes VI-IX and all teachers will cast their votes (for candidates in their own house) after having both heard the candidates words and seen their follow-up action.
